Rumors Surface: the Sims 4 Expansion Pack 'Lovestruck' Leaked Online

Recently, what appears to be legitimate promotional material detailing the next expansion pack for The Sims 4 has surfaced online, courtesy of a dedicated dataminer. According to the leak, the upcoming expansion is titled "Lovestruck" and is slated for release in July 2024.

Since its debut in 2014, Maxis's popular life simulation game has seen 15 major expansions. The most recent addition, "For Rent," was launched in December 2023.

Following up on "For Rent," Maxis is reportedly preparing to release "Lovestruck," a romance-themed expansion scheduled to hit the market on July 25. These details emerged thanks to dataminer Anadius, who recently shared various promotional materials, including key art and a store description of the yet-unannounced DLC, via Twitter. Although EA swiftly removed the leaked images from Anadius's original tweet using copyright claims, copies quickly circulated across social media.

According to the leaked information, pre-orders for "Lovestruck" are expected to commence on June 27, although it remains uncertain whether the expansion will be officially announced before that date. Priced at $39.99, in line with previous expansions for The Sims 4, early adopters who purchase the DLC before September 5 will receive bonuses such as the Cry Me A River Eyeliner, Herbert Heart Plushie, and Basic Breakup Double Bed, as outlined by the leaked product description.
